Vaniqa to stop growth of unwanted hairs

Vaniqa cream is an antiprotozoal medication that works by blocking the action of ornithine, which is an enzyme found in hair follicles and is needed for proper hair growth. This medication comes in the form of a cream that needs to be applied on the skin, which can reduce the growth of unwanted hair around the chin and lips. This medication does not remove facial hair; it only slows down the growth of hair. It is advisable to use a hair removal method such as plucking for removing facial hair even when you are using this drug.

This skin care treatment starts showing its effects within two months. If you do not see any substantial improvement after four to six months, stop using this medication after consulting a doctor. You should use this drug only if you see good results on your face on a regular basis. Hair will regrow at a normal pace within a span of two months if you stop using this cream.

You should only use this drug as prescribed and that too under the chin and lips. Do not use it in the eyes or on the moist membranes that are inside the parts of the body. Do not use this medication on the skin immediately after you use any hair removal method. You should wait for at least five minutes before you use Vaniqa. For best results, do not remove the cream for four hours after you have applied it. Always consult a doctor before using this cream.
