Sometimes, heartburn is confused with heart attack and this might stress a person unnecessarily. It is important to distinguish the symptoms of heartburn with heart attack before taking Prevacid.

It is important to find out more about this drug before taking it. Do not take it if you are allergic to any of its ingredients, especially lansoprazole. Tell your doctor before taking this drug if you are suffering from a liver disease.
